Roam the wilderness with only a day pack on your back! Highlight trips
are designed for those who like to cover a lot of territory without the
burden of carrying a lot of gear. Pack animals or vans transport food
and equipment from camp to camp, while you enjoy the freedom to explore.
Families with children age 12 or older are welcome.
There are currently no trips scheduled that satisfy your search criteria. Try one of the following:
Enter fewer search criteria. For example, we don't offer backpacking trips in all states, so you might try entering either a state or a type of trip, not both.
For international trips to a specific country or region, be sure to leave the "type of trip" field blank. If you want to browse international trips all over the world, leave the country blank and select "international" for type of trip.
Try again later. It's possible that we offer trips within your criteria but that they are not yet open for reservations. We release our trips every year on a phased schedule so you might want to contact us to see if we will be offering the trip you want.
