NOV 7-NOV 17, 2014 Angeles Chapter, Crescenta Valley. Eleven day trip encompasses the highest Mountains in the world and the wildlife of Nepal. Learn about the religion and culture of the Nepalese. Visitt Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha. The tour includes sightseeing in Kathmandu visiting temples, markets, and other places in the capital, includes the famous Boudhanath temple , a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit Pokhara and Annapurna at sunrise, take a scenic drive to Negarkot and see the Himalaya range. Visit Bhaktapur village where we might see Mt. Everest, the highest mountain in the world at sunrise. Spend a couple of days in Chitwan National Park looking for wildlife. Chitwan is a UNESCO world heritage site where you may see elephants, rhinos, gaur, deer, various types of monkeys, possibly a tiger, as well as numerous bird species. Stay in hotels or lodges for this trip. Highlights group is limited to 27 participants.
