Save the Dates! Come to beautiful Bisbee, AZ, to experience Birds & Borders tour. Coordinating with the Sierra Club's Border Lands campaign, we will arrive Fri. evening, have a delicious meal, and settle into our comfortable lodging, check out the Wetlands and cranes and other birds Sat. a.m., then cross from Douglas, AZ, USA, into Agua Prieta, Mexico & the wall. After a maravillosa lunch in a Mexican seafood restaurant, we will experience the hospitality of the Migrant Resource Center. Then we will visit the coffee bagging at Café Justo, where shade grown organic coffee is grown mostly in Oaxaco and Chiapas cooperativos. Sunday we will view more birds, then go to the border where the wall crosses the San Pedro River and see how migratory patterns for mammals are disrupted by the wall. Sierra Club's own Dan Millis, of the BorderLands campaign, will offer his stories from his experiences. Estimated cost per person will be under $200, which includes van rental, 5 meals, lodging; total may vary depending upon number of participants.
