Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve Tour and Hike on Delaware Canal. 10am. Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve showcases an extraordinary diversity of plants native to Pennsylvania and the Delaware Valley region. They care for and protect a native plant collection with the goal of encouraging the public to visit, enjoy, and learn about the richness of Pennsylvania's natural heritage. Following the self-guided walk through the preserve, we’ll hike along the Delaware Canal Towpath to Washington Crossing and back. We’ll walk for about 1-2 miles in the preserve and 9.5 miles on the towpath. Bring a picnic lunch, water, snacks, and sun protection. $5 entrance fee for admission to the preserve. Rain cancels--call or text leader the morning of outing if in doubt. Pets are not permitted in the preserve. This outing will be run in conjunction with Sundance Outdoor Adventure Society.
